FP/LP Assessments

AssessmentsPoole Fire Protection has a staff of professionals qualified to assess a facility’s fire protection and life safety risks.  By evaluating these features, building owners can dramatically impact losses caused during an event through identifying gaps in protection or risk mitigation.

Fire Protection Assessment

Using the code of record or the current codes adopted, Poole Fire Protection reviews the facility for compliance.  Poole Fire Protection prioritizes any identified deficiencies by developing a Plan of Correction and cost-effective mitigation plans for each issue.

Fire Hazard Analysis

A Fire Hazard Analysis is an in-depth evaluation of the risks and fire protection of a facility.  The analysis encompasses code compliance, risk management and loss scenarios.  Computer-based fire modeling is often performed to evaluate loss scenarios and protection schemes.

Risk Assessments

A detailed Risk Assessment quantifies exposures and measures to mitigate the risk.  The assessment focuses on a facility’s existing life safety systems, in-house mitigation programs and the support capabilities offered by emergency responders.

Life Safety Assessments

The most important components of a facility’s assessment are life safety and the means of egress for its staff and occupants.  Poole Fire Protection can perform detailed life safety assessments for a facility using computer generated, timed-egress analysis, to validate the life safety and exit components of a facility
